Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the iShopSync platform (“Service”). By registering, signing in, or using features, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Collaborative shopping tools as offered in the user interface, including groups, sessions, budgets, receipts, OCR, messaging, exports, share links, notifications, and related functionality. Features may evolve over time.
2. Account eligibility
You must have legal capacity (or act within your authority for an organisation). You are responsible for accurate registration data and safeguarding credentials.
3. Platform operator vs group admins
The platform operator is distinct from group administrators chosen by users. The operator does not decide how your group spends money; users are responsible for data they enter.
4. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no unauthorised access, no abuse of infrastructure, no unlawful uploads, no infringement of third-party rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create security risk.
5. Your content and licence
You remain owner of your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process (including OCR), format, and display it solely to operate iShopSync and protect security.
6. Third-party services
Features such as Google sign-in or Gemini OCR are also governed by the relevant third-party terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for reasonable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or withdraw features; where changes are material, we will try to notify you reasonably.
8. Intellectual property
Branding, software, and design elements belong to their respective rights-holders. No licence is granted beyond normal use of the Service.
9. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Financial summaries and OCR output are informational only; they are not professional tax, accounting, or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory law (including consumer protection rules where you qualify as a consumer), our liability is limited accordingly. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where applicable law forbids exclusion).
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict access for breaches of these Terms or the law.
12. Governing law and disputes
Where the operator is established in Romania, Romanian law applies and Romanian courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights including EU online dispute resolution information where applicable (ODR).
